Born in 1982, Anton started to dance at the age of 5, in the folk dance company Maly Vtácnik. He continued his dance education at the J.L.Bellu Conservatory in Banská Bystrica, where he collaborated with friends and also participated in M.A.P.A. (Moving Academy for Performing Arts).
From there he went on to train at the University of Bratislava in 2001, followed by further training at P.A.R.T.S., headed by A.Teresa de Keersmeaker (Belgium).
Anton became member of Akram Khan Company in March 2004 and followed long international tour of "MA" (48 countries all over the world) for two years.
Anton created a system that he teaches all over the world called Anton Lachky-Puzzle Work. His teaching activities are wide ranging, he has been invited in most of the countries in the world over last 10 years. Endless Body Game
Anton Lachky is co-founder of Les SlovaKs Dance Collective. They created their first piece "Opening Night" in 2006 and premiered it in October 2007, then Journey Home (2009) , Fragments (2011). All of these pieces toured all over the world.
As a choreographer, Anton Lachky created different pieces. "Mind a Gap" (2013) was his first autonomous creation. It toured all over the world."Side Effects" second production, and CARTOON (2017) - Won Price of Minister of the Culture Alda Greoli, currently on tour internationally.
As a guest choreographer he created "Softandhard" - Helsinki City Theater, "Heaven is the place" - Prague DOT 504, "Perfect Day To Dream" (which won best choreography of 2012 in Iceland) - Iceland Dance Company, "Kids in a play" (nominated for the best choreography) - Zagreb, "Sens Interdit" - Bodhi Project (SEAD), "Magical Road" - St-Gallen, "wonderland" for the Gottenborg Ballet and choreographies for the Biennale of Venice, and for the Scotish dance theater "DREAMERS", Collective Cla Costa Rica TRIOLOGY, Verve dance company Leeds UK,BODY TRAFFIC Los Angeles USA TRIOLOGY, Hellenic dance company Athens,Family Journey for DOT504 in Prague.
He is curently preparing new production FORTUNEVILLE for ICELAND DANCE COMPANY premiere 27th of April 2018
