« Running towards the edge of a cliff, eyes closed »
In a ten-minute solo intended not only for the stage, but also for theatre halls and public places, Éléonore Valère-Lachky wants to sound the alarm about the impact of our behaviour on the environment. Ground dance, crawling, and then verticality regained as symbols of life drive, action and resistance. They all express committed support for the scientific word, the one that, in the heart of the City, tries to denounce, or even thwart, the advertising discourse, which is invasive, alienating or downright deceitful. An artistic gesture in a state of emergency, like an alert on the brink of collapse.

« Courir les yeux fermés ou bord d'un ravin »
« Courir les yeux fermés ou bord d'un ravin » est une prise de parole dansée sur la crise écologique. Parce qu'autour de nous, rien n'est fait pour que nous ayons conscience de l'impacte de nos comportements sur l'environnement, il semble important que cette parole s'impose, s'invite dans des lieux où on ne l'attend pas forcément. Ce court solo n'est donc pas seulement destiné à la scène, mais aussi aux halls de théâtre et aux lieux publics offrant un cadre possible à cet « acte citoyen chorégraphique ». L'objectif de ce solo est de soutenir, promouvoir la parole des scientifiques au sein de la cité, et de contrebalancer autant que faire se peut le discours publicitaire, qui nous submerge et nous trompe. Eléonore a ici souhaité utiliser ses outils d’artiste chorégraphique afin de communiquer à la fois sur l'effondrement en cours, et sur les initiatives alternatives respectueuses du vivant, qui ne bénéficient pas de la même exposition auprès du grand public.
